WHAT ARE GROW ROOM GLASSES?
The horticulture industry is ever expanding, and many hydroponic plants today are cultivated in grow rooms and vertical farms. Plants require a lot of strong artificial color light to photosynthesize indoors, commonly yellow and violet. However, the UV-radiation and intense hue is uncomfortable and dangerous to the human eye. Some discomfort may lead to headaches, nausea, eye fatigue and blurry vision.
Grow room glasses help protect the eyes from harmful UV radiation as well as color correct to alleviate distortion and discomfort. There are many variations suitable for LED and HPS lighting. All LuxAR Grow comes in frames that meet or exceed regulated safety standards including ANSI Z87.1/CSA Z94.3.
